LAST EDITED ON Sep-30-03 AT 06:54 AM (EDT)

Someone who loves F40s... but most CERTAINLY not me *whistles innocently* tossed a wrench into... well, some moving part on ALL the Amtrak west F59PHIs. While they're off being repaired, F40s have come back to do the brunt of the labour on the Surfliner route... They can push 90... but just barely! Seems to top out at 91.A little oops with an F59PHI or two… or twenty – image 2

Poor thing... I guess it's kind of sadistic to make it provide HEP to the whole consist AND move it. Oh well. A little oops with an F59PHI or two… or twenty – image 4
A hard day's work deserves an honest night's.. or afternoon's... rest! Later it'll come in Surfliner paint but I'll probably be too lazy to post pictures.Tim Frost
