Either screenshots or photographs are acceptable, but there must be an electric locomotive or an EMU in the picture.

My uncle took this picture last year (I was right next to him when he took it). This is just to the east of Penn Station in New York, and a New Jersey Transit ALP46 is pulling a set of brand new Comet V coaches out into the Hudson Tunnels. This was the first time I had ever seen an ALP46 (I had seen them from a distance before, but not in operation) OR a Comet V, so this was pretty special for me. In the foreground is a train of Comet IIIs and Comet IVs pulled by a standard NJTransit ALP44. That train is stopped, waiting for a track assignment.

RE: DANGER! HIGH VOLTAGE!

Classic views from a subway train. Out of the front of a redbird subway car heading into the Clark Street station (in reality, a station on the Chicago State Street Subway). Sadly, these days are gone, as the redbirds are gone from all but the 7 line, and even the 7 line will soon see the last redbird pull into Corona Yard for the last time.

The last times I will hear "This is a Queens-Bound (7) Train, the next stop will be Flushing Main-St. Stand clear of the closing doors," without the "Ding-Dong" is on a Redbird. Congrats on your 700th post, Interborough.. Do you always do this on every 100th post?

RE: DANGER! HIGH VOLTAGE!

Not quite. After 1000, I won't do this as much. You might be hearing something at 750, but no guarantees.
How long do the redbirds have left?

That's something I'd rather not know. One thing's for sure. #9306 will still be serving us Transit Fans... on Fan Trips.

RE: DANGER! HIGH VOLTAGE!

Nice Picture
One question, though. Who is the builder of thet engine? It looks quite similar to some Siemens Engines in operation here in Germany.

"Damn the torpeodoes- Four bells Captain Drayton" - Admiral Farragut aboard USS Harford during the Battle of Mobile Bay, August 5th 1864.

I think it's Bombardier, but I'm not sure. It's based on the E101 locomotive, so that would be why it looks like a German locomotive.
