Will it go all the way to Edmonton? When i was passing thru there on #1, i saw 2 SD38-2's head up the vegreville from Walker yard. Another great canadian route coming along i see
Hi Rob. Well, there are 11 more towns to go before I would reach Ft. Saskatchewan (Metro Edm) and then the city itself. Don't know if I'll take it that far right now. I'd need a detailed map of the Walker (formerly Calder) yards. I've got a city map of Edmonton, The yellowhead generally follows the tracks all the way through the north end of the city. There is a multitude ton of industries on the east side with tracks stretching out all over the place. From what I know, the Edmonton area has a huge Intermodal facility, Petroleum Refineries, chemical factories, Autorack facilities. And then there's the main yards in the city Dont think my computer could handle all of that.Rory.
How about as far as around St. Paul Jct., Rory ( juntion with the old Coronado Sub, now belongs to Raillink). That would include the small yard at Scotford with some of the Chemical plant etc. After that there is not too much until you get to the entrance to Walker (nee Calder) yard anyway. You've done a great job, so far, Rory. Much appreciated. Cheers, Ernie
Yeah, that RLK thing would be neat.... And maybe just make a small yard and station at the end and name it whatever.... Awsome workChris Wilson MP 63 CP's Heron Bay Sub Marathon, Ontario
