RE: Freight action on the NEC

INterestingly enough I saw some actual freight on the NEC this week. I didn't think they were running freight north of Wilmington but sure enough it was there. All I caught was several covered hoppers, tankers and gondolas between Norwood and Glenolden (PA). I didn't see the motive power and I couldn't tell which track it was on (northbound on track 3 or 4).Anyone know anything more about it?Gary

the cars were on the "o" track at hook interlocking. the nightly road train from allentown to edgemoor makes a setoff there..then a local from stoney creek drills them during the day. the southbound h86 ns train makes its appearance between 11pm and 1 am and the northbound rolls by between 4-6 am..i work it many times from the extra board..dh2
