RE: Some Canton pics

Has anyone noticed the gap between couplers onthe Louis Drefus hoppers and other cars?It looks like the cars are about 3 feet apart even though they are coupled.

Shawn the yellow on that GP38 isn't that far off.I remember her before she was repainted;I'm pretty sure it was GATX blue. The yellow on the RS1 pack is dead on.Im curious Shawn, are you planning on doing SW900 #120?I actually drove the real thing in Little Ferry yard. Thanks for the skins!

RE: Some Canton pics

BTW,it was an accident that the local powered by the GP38 stopped there. The activity is just a modified version of Canton #12.I also replaced all the signals.I couldn't help it,she needed a signal rehab!

RE: Some Canton pics

I've had the old #120 since it came out.The newer model is superior,as is the painter.I think I'm going to jump into skinning myself.I was pretty good with a brush and Floquil paint on my old N scale stuff. The real limiting factor here is time.

RE: Some Canton pics

They used a lot of Stillwell coaches like the Erie.Unfortunately, there are none in the library.

A while ago I saw one of those Mark1 videos with the NYSW in it. They ran what looked like to be stanless steel coaches??? All they ran was one RS-1 and a single coach, thats what I like about them. Maybe I have a pic of it somewhere.....

I replaced the rails with the textures from Sniper's 3D track set.The roadbed is unchanged.
