Just a few shots from my most recent run on one of my favourite foreign (which means non-German to me ) scenarios, where I took control of train R 8034 from Naples Central Station to Formia on the Napoli-Roma V2 route .
Emerging from an underpass shortly before my first stop at Villa Literno...
Less than a kilometer to the platform and slowing down...
Passing the local control centre...
With the first stop having been completed, R 8034, served by an ALe 426 bi-level EMU, is darting out onto the mainline again...
Only thing I wonder is why Italian rolling stock builders still seem to prefer box-type pantographs even on their more recent products...
Encountering an oncoming InterRegio...
In reality, this curve would, of course, be banked ...Kuju, you reading this?
Stopped again...
...and smokin'...
...and stopping yet again - now at Sessa Aurunca...
Passing a bridge...
Meeting a southbound Eurostar served by an ETR 500 trainset...
Pulling off the mainline at Formia...
...and rolling alongside the platform.
