I'm under the understanding Jim is going to be changeing the name of West colton junction to WCJct as it's too long to read what exit you're choosing And was wanting other suggestion like recieving to WC RCVD.
Pls as to help jim as I think all he sees is the yard number pls Add the number to your suggestion and Thank you.
As most of you don't have a problem with this but I do see a newbie having 1 and so Jim had me talk to anthony and he agreed. So jim suggested this post to get all or most of the other names. For easy reading
West colton Junction(1101)to WCJct
West colton Receiving (1147)WC RCVDPS JIm I hope I did it right

RE: long names

I am yardmaster @ these yards and should have final say and don't think this is necessary. For one even if your posting to me me via adjoining map you should have no problem figuring out which exit is for which. The exits do not change that often and only/usually for a map addition to that area. 2nd, getting tired of hearing others using my yard for thierselves. This is why thier are yardmasters assigned as thier is no confusion as to who is working where. Thats my 1 1/2 cents worth!Del
