I'm hearing how you all are just loving my DD40x and now 90x. I was talking to Jim H 1 day and he said that the rules were to post unwanted trains back to the orginator. I don't see the problem with these engines but Freight has to be moved and they work just like the other engines. But if you don't want to play tag with me just send my trains to me and I'll run to the next map and the next player NP. It just doesn't need to be deleted. Thank youPPS It used to be we deleted unwanted trains and that was got many to leave. I thank jim H for this solution from the past to the future of YD.
Tom, Its not a rule - it's just the way I would deal with such a situation.I hope no-one is deleting either trains or locos. I would like to think we are all above that sort of thing.I'm not sure what prompted this post from you. You make reference to 2 locos types which as far as I can see are not listed in the Loco section of the ini file. Is that the problem?Perhaps if you outlined you ideas and explain the rules of tag to us (Hide and Seekers) we might find some common ground.Open a post on loco types - I assume we can add more types to the ini files, if that is the general requirement. Perhaps you already have a personal ini with new types in it.
Its not a matter of your DD40x and 90x's Slim. Most of us don't mind except that you create them for RR's that never had them ever. Most of us try to stick to the real/prototypical rosters of that RR. So if you create the UP DD40's then all peaches and cream. But NS or ATSF ones? Nahhhh! As for deleting another unneccessary topic as been dealt with and NO ONE should be deleting them. You have seen me post back yours and Bill's power by West Colton at times here or there. If anyone is deleting locos or trains cease please. Also, in regards to Palmetto unethical to be stealing trains that aren't posted to you unless that poster/reciever has given you the okay such as moving stuff when extended absence but NEVER at any other time. If this continues sadly will have to go towards emailing and the honest players will not ever deal with the thieving player(s).Del
