Guys,
The HIS files I get vary greatly in format and content, which can make it difficult & time-consuming for me. So can you please ensure any HIS files sent to me are formatted as follows:@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@Name: Dragon Jct., TX
Map By: Mr. Blobby
Date Added: 11-11-2004 Description:
Whatever you wish goes here.Version History:
v1: Added to server (Do not delete.)ParentYD:
YDSymbol:
Long: -120.37
Lat: 26.89 Conn-Dels:
1082:7::1044:2 Inman, GA to Big Sandy, TX
1082:1::1057:1 Inman, GA to Simpson, FL

Conn-Adds:
9999:1::1082:7 Inman, GA
9999:2::1044:2 Big Sandy, TX@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@Some Notes
1. Save the information in a file NNNN.his (where NNNN is your project number).
2. In a linked series of maps, list all Deletions once only (in the HIS file of the primary map of that series).
3. Deletions & Connections must be explicitly defined. It is not acceptable to say "Delete all connections from East Side of Yard X"
4. For Deletions name both yards involved using the format above.
5. For Additions name the yard which the new yard is connecting to. If the addition does not involve new yard being posted then name both yards.Using this format will help me post your maps more accurately and with a lot less work. If anyone has any questions about this or points they wish to raise please do so.Thanks in advance for your support.Jim (Dragon)
