I know this has come up before so bear with me. There are several yards that should be getting covered hoppers, but for whatever reason, are set up to receive grain hoppers. Croxton is one example, I believe State Line is another. I talked to Jim Hill today and he agreed(I hope I am not putting words in your mouth, Jim) that this could be rectified. To that end, should the effort be made to change those maps that are recieving the wrong type of car? Some cases may not be so obvious, and I think it would be a good idea to talk to the map designer(if possible) before changes are made to these maps. If we are going to do this, I would be willing to act as "coordiator". You could submit your changes to me and I will make the changes required to the .yrd file and submit to Jim. This will make it easier for Jim to post the changes to the server. So post you opinion here, and if we get a consensus that this is a worthwhile endeavor, we can begin ASAP. Thanks for your time.Steve

All those maps were supposed to have been taken care of way back when Wisman introduced the grain hopper to the game. This was done by renaming the covered hopper, then adding the covered hopper to the end of the list, which is why a lot of old maps that once properly had CH's are now set up incorrectly for GHs.And yes, Croxton should unload CHs.-Dave

I have begun compiling some of the changes that need to be made. If anyone has changes to maps that they are running, or maps in their area that they know of that need changes, email them to me and I will make the required changes and send to Jim(Dragon). If you want to make the changes yourself and send me the updated .yrd file, that would be even better. Thanks.Steve
