Designers,Two changes to the Office of Maps website:
1) A *new* process for writing .his files has been posted. All future submittals are required to conform to the format specified therein.
2) The new "MIP local" link will take you to the most up-to-date version of the MIP, which I'm once again maintaining on my server. I will soon bring the other five lists over to my site.Upcoming site changes will primarily cover revisions to the MDR and IMD to incorporate revised standards and other items not currently discussed.I'll be leaving TH for Albany on Saturday morning, and will have only limited time for YD between August 02 and 12. After that, I will be out west somewhere and unable to participate in YD. I'll resume duties in September. Before I leave, I will transmit a dozen or so maps to Jim for posting.All images for approved projects that I posses have been returned to designers. If you have had an image created and have not received a processed version, please email it to me and I'll do my best to process it before I depart for the West.All initial trackwork submittals should be sent to Matt; once he is satisfied that they're good, he'll pass them on to me once I return. I ask that you don't send me *any* YD files between August 12 and 30 to ensure nothing is lost, and that my mail server does not have its storage limits exceeded.Thanks everyone!-Dave
