Hello, New YD user here (hopefully)I'm trying to install Yard Duty for the second time (first time crashed my HDD/had to re-install my OS) I've been trying to get this to run, I''ve got an AMD K6-300 w/32MB of RAM and Win 98. I'm currently looking at a "Run time Error '429'" "ActiveX component can't create object"Any ideas on what I'm missing? I also experienced the same setup error reported previously re: the 'Out of Date' setup files prompting a restart.A troubleshooting doc for this program would be nice... Anyone else experience this error (or the other one) or know how I can get this program to operate on my PC?Thanks Dan MacKellar
Dan I would give some serious thought about your K6-300. It has been my experience. and others that I know, that considering the age of your processor it might be dying a slow death. K6's are known for doing stange things as they get older. If you find you have other issues with your computer from time to time, this could be the case. Also, you may just have some OS issues that need to be resolved. One more thing. 32 megs of ram is just a little low for windows 98. Just some thoughts, hope they might help.Oh! Is there room on your HD?
