Q1: "Can I add my own color train engines and have it added to the list on the server. Right now I'm using Boston & Maine, but the trains around here are Guildford and B&A"

A1: Yes, you can create the paint scheme in the 'Engine Colors' window and email me the 'Text of paint Scheme' and let me know what railroad it is supposed to represent. I can then add it to the server.
Q2: "Can I add text or track to a map for my personal use? Meaning can I add a spur and will the computer remember it or will it cause errors. I don't think anyone else would see it but won't matter."

A2: Yes you can edit the maps that you have downloaded, but you should only make minor changes because it may be neccesary to download updated versions (which I post) in the future. When you download the updated versions, any changes you have personally made will be lost. Also, you may have noticed that many of the maps are less that 50% complete. If there is a particular map that you would like to 'finish off', you can do that and then send me the updated .yrd file for that map.
Q3: "The exits on my maps are backwards, Meaning the entrance at the bottom of the screen (of Northern Main Junction) goes to sears port not Ayer, MA the one on left top does, can you change that? I'm starting to work on the searsport yard, wait till you see this one."

A4: Sure I can. Just detail how the maps should be properly connected when you submit them. This is done in the 'connection' section of the .his file. If there is no data here, I just connect them the best I can, because I really don't know what the prototypical connections would be. But I can't connect NMJ to Sears Port if you have not yet submitted it, so I just choose something reasonable. Thanks,
Jim
