Yea, no kidding. I can't wait till the hump yard in Barstow is fully finished with all the tracks. I can't wait to take a shot at that one, I'm heading a great time breaking down and making up trains. Its just like operating the local model RR, except I don't have to wait for the last friday of the month to do it!I also just sent Jim my first map, we are rolling!Chris Lee Train Artisan
>Its just like operating the local model RRI know, I've also enjoyed it. It's virtually a 24 hour, 7 days a week, worldwide operating session. I especially like how I can create a train, arrange it any way I wish, upload it, and get e-mail on it later when somebody delivers the cars.Joe
Welcome,What area of the country are you located in, and what yard are you working on?You might have to have your wife control your time on the computer. lolWe also have a Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/yardduty/ I encourage you to join that as well.Enjoy,Paul Metzger Pittsburgh, PA
I just finished a marathon crash course in yard design. I have done my entire local area yard, wye and industries. I am in Rome, GA and will be working on Chattanooga, TN, Cleveland, TN, Atlanta, GA, Austell, Ga. I will have to complete all of those areas in order for Rome to acurately 'fit into' the current network. I will upload the fruits of my labor if you wish to take a gander. Also, the construction file is named 9002, so don't overwrite a file with the same name if you download this. Rome, Ga MapThis has been a lot of fun so far ... hope to see the network continue to expand. Alan
Yea, that reminds me, please try to pick random numbers people! There is no reasom for everyone to send me 9002 maps. That number was chosen as an example. Pick something like 9520 as a starting point and go sequentialy up from there. (Watch, now everyone will start sending me 9520! lol) Jim
