Jim,All in all, I like the feel that the mainline trains gives. It is a great enhancement. I have found a problem though in the Seattle grain terminal map. Sometimes the mainline train comes in from exit #3(bottom right). This is not a mainline, but a siding or yard track. Fortunately I didn't have a train on that track at the time. I would expect that track to be a safe place to be "in the clear" of the mainline train. That could be a problem.Paul Metzger
Thanks, I'm glad you like the mainline trains. One thing is for sure, you can't just go anywhere you want anymore. I like the 5 minute setting the best. You have to think if something is coming and if you'll have time to get out of the way. In a way you are playing the role of dispatcher, by keeping the mainline clear and keeping local yard crews out of the way of priority trains.I fixed the Seattle map, so just re-download the trackwork for it.Jim
Um, I think I must be missing something here.I haven't seen any mainline trains run through the maps I've been on yet. I see the clocked counting down to zero and then when it gets there it goes into negitive and nothing happens, I think I might lose some money as well...Do you have to create consists for mainline trains or something?Chris Lee Train Artisan
"...there is a new button on the 'Train Info' window that will save the train you are viewing to the Mainline trains folder. I like to save passenger trains as mainline trains..."Jim
