From an anonymous new user:"Okay, I'm already off to a bad start, with a lot of issues."
Be pacient, I am here to support you. I will be working on better instructions soon."In Options -- why don't you tell us that the 'STMP Verification' is
something that's going to be sent to us? The way the window is set
up, it looks like it's supposed to be something a user already knows,
and that 'Send' is what's to be done after the verification is put in
-- only after some dumb experimentation did I figure out how it was
to be done."
I'll try to improve this.
"I go searching around the map, finding that I do not have the yards
downloaded -- but where am I supposed to get them?"
Select a yard from the list and from the menu: Yard\Download Trackwork, etc..."Somehow I *do* have Alcoa loaded, but when finally get into the yard, there are no cars there, no train. How am I to know where there's 'work' to be done?"
You must 'create' or download trains and then 'ride' them into the yard the train was created for.. I will be working on a feature to automatically populate the industrial sidings with loaded freight. coming soon!
"...how do I know what trains need work and where? "
For now, you work on the trains that you 'ride' into a yard. Thanks and hang in there,
JimPS: What is your user name?
