Jim,Here's a few ideas:1. Like Chris Lee, I like to idea of a list of reporting marks.
2. I would like to be able to add or delete engines at the time I edit the reporting marks and destinations of the cars. I guess on the number of engines needed vs. the number of cars in the initial create window, and would like to be able to change it, if necessary to maintain a proper HP/Tonnage rating.
3. Is it possible to have a train enter from a "local delivery" exit? The main reason being that on some maps, for instance AYER, MA, there is only one exit to another yard, and in order to connect with the system, you have to run around the train. This becomes annoying. It would also simulate a train having picked up cars and returning to the yard.
4. I am interested in prototypical operation, and therefore try to assign train symbols(names), blockings, routings and car types and reporting marks based on actual practice. I have a variety of info on these, and could make it available, if desired. If nothing else, this could be used for "advanced play".Paul Metzger

Yes, it does sound like you are an advanced user, if you are concerning yourself with the HP/tonnage ratio. I basically ignore it!2. I should be able to add the delete feature. This way, if the train is overpowered you delete engines and if it is under powered you would delete cars. Adding cars on this screen will be too hard to program. And it will only work on trains on the hard drive, not while in a yard.3. This problem will go away as the national system becomes more developed, but I will try to think of a way to make this work for you.Jim
