Guys,I'm working on an offline play mode. Basically if you are not connected to the internet when starting YD, you are thrown into this mode. When playing offline you cannot:a) Exchange trains b) Download maps c) Connect to chat d) Send delivery emails e) etc...Also, I am revamping the way that delivery emails work, as per an idea suggeted by YellowSignal. Basically, as you deliver freight cars, the email text is created and stored on the hard drive in a place I call the 'Email Outbox'. Then, at a later date, you can go to this new screen I am adding that lets you send the emails when you want. The benefit of this system is that it doesn't matter if you are online of offline at the time you make the delivery. Of course you will need to be in 'online mode' to send the emails using YD. Another benifit is that if you cannot configure YD to use a smtp server (i.e. your email is aol, msn, etc.., or your server requires authentication and will not relay to other servers) you will still be able to cut & paste the emails into your own email application.Your thoughts are welcomed, Jim

3 things that I have missed when working offline are: 1. Accessing trains on my own hard drive. 2. Being able to change the destinations of cars (especially empties for reloading). 3. Creating new trains.I hope that we will be able to do the above under the new system. Thanks,Paul Metzger Sup. of Map Connections/ DDR/TrainmasterCP Rail System (D&H) "Courtesy keeps customers"
