I am now accepting applications for 1 Yardmaster position at DeButts Yard. The yardmasters position will require the yarding and classification of inbound trains. Also the yardmaster will be required to make sure that all inbound power is sent to the locomotive shop for servicing and will be responsible for the delivery of all local freight.I will handle the assembly of outbound trains, including adding the proper locomotives to the trains, and will yard all local freight in the local yard. I will also deliever all outbound trains to surrounding yardmasters, and will see that all bad orders and wash cars are properly serviced. This operation will require the exchange of the crs. file back and forth between yardmasters via e mail. All applicants will be required to follow a operating plan for the terminal, and previous yardmastering experience is a plus. This new position will aid in the efficent and timely movement of freight through DeButts Yard.
Thanks,
Spike
