I had a derailment this morning which cost me ALL of my money. Since I had $5.4 Million dollars, that was significant. I thought one only lost half of their money in a derailment. Have the parameters changed recently (i.e. since last week)?Be careful if you're running mainline (AI) trains.

Well, that is not supposed to happen. I've been thinking to make a mainline train mistake have a fixed price. Since it is entirely possible to accumulate millions of dollars, why don't I make a mainline mistake have a fixed cost of $1,000,000. That seems fair.If that is too much, let me know what you think is reasonable.Jim
I think that's a bit much... I've been stuck around $300K-$400K since I started running Selkirk. Maybe decrease it an order of magnitude? While you're at it, maybe double the income from a train passing through? On the subject of money... has it struck anyone else strange that the person who receives full payment from delivery of a car is the person who physically delivers it, but the originator of the car gets nothing?-Dave Conrail Albany Division ...striving for "Continuous Quality Improvement" http://gcdranet.homelinux.com/davehonan/
So what are you saying? That a person should get paid at the moment they create a car? Obviously there is no way to increase the account of the originator at delivery time from the deliverer's computer! JimOK: $100,000 mainline crash and double income from mainline train passing through.
Maybe increase "excessive impact" also? I just slammed a train into a cut of cars at 49mph (forgot a turnout), and I think $50 is somewhat paltry. Very very very paltry. Maybe $10,000?-Dave Conrail Albany Division ...striving for "Continuous Quality Improvement" http://gcdranet.homelinux.com/davehonan/
I think the $100,000 for mainline crashes is more reasonable. But I think that $10,000 for excessive impact is too much. I wouldn't go above $500 per impact.I understand where you're coming from with the originator getting money for a delivered car, but not sure how that could be implemented.

I can't seem to get above $90K running Debutts because there is so little delivery and local stuff done there. I don't run mainline trains either because I've got so much stuff going on I can't have that to worry about too! So the mainline crash doesn't really apply to me...however the excessive impact does . Lets keep it down so I don't have a $0 balance with the week!Corey "LongHoodForward"
There is a industrial park north of De Butts I d like to add in the future that has about 4-5 industries I like to add to the game in the future. I noticed you are working on Linwood Corey, how are you coming along with it? I think it would be a great addition. The more hump yards the better. NS
