Hi, I created a train and set the delivery yard to Fresno, but they is not drop off areas in the yard, so how do I collect the money for that job.. Also will I get a refund for that train ????Now, I would seguest two thing for this. 1: That all "Yard maps" have a some drop points, maps that are just a link from one yard to the next don't need one.2: that a flag system could be set to a map that doesn't have a drop off point so it can't be set for deliveries. Stuart.
Question: ...but there is not drop off areas in the yard, so how do I collect the money for that job.. Answer: Good question Stuart. For Fresno, there are no unloader tracks (i.e. drop off areas) so you can't deliver freight the 'hard way'. However you can still use the 'easy way', which is to drive the cars off any Fresno exit and select 'local delivery' instead of a connecting yard. You have to imagine that the train went to deliver the cars somewhere and then returns to te yard (the engines and caboose will return!). That's how you get your money. Note that some maps (like Tehachapi Loop) have no local industry and therefore you cannot deliver freight there the easy or hard way. In other words, I already have a flag system in place. Yard Duty will not use Tehachapi Loop as a random destination because freight is not delivered there. Any map that appears as a white dot on North America will not be used.Jim
