There are two common reasons for problems with logging in and posting messages. The first is that you are running a firewall that prevents your messages from being sent to the server. The other is that you have cookies disabled; the DCForum software requires cookies to work properly.
Features: 1) Added a 'note' pad for each yard where you can type personalized notes about a yard, for example who is yardmaster there or who to post trains to, etc... Click the 'Info' button on the Trains window to access this feature. May come in handy as you meet new people online...Improvements: 2) Added Chat word wrap on the map window.3) Added yard symbol to the map list, although you can't sort by it, which would be ideal.4) Added more info to the chat request info message (Home Yard and YD version)5) Added (private) when sending a private message, so you and the recipient know that it was sent privately. I'm at school right now, and I'm wondering if this is a required download. That note feature sounds cool, as I always have to ask people who is where and and who do i post these cars to.
Alpha,In general, most releases are not required. But you should always get the latest version whenever I release one. I typically only release a new version when there is new useful stuff in it.Jim
