New maps by members only – image 2

I have decided to accept new maps from members only. The main reason for this change is that I feel members have more experience playing the game, and therefore a better understanding of the game. Basically, I want to avoid having beginning players from submitting maps before they really understand the game (or have even played it). I think this policy will accomplish that goal.I have slightly modified the instructions to reflect this change. Thanks,
Jim Note: I will make an exception for you, PKMan, since you have already begun working, but I can't honestly say I've ever seen a train posted by you.

Jim I posted 2 or 3 trains to website, But I am more into making Maps and laying track down on a map .
I have already started working on some maps from San Bernardino to Riverside, Ca. These are double track with 2X crossovers. As soon as the maps have been aprove , I will get started on laying down the track for these maps . Today 1-28-03 I finish two maps , BNSF's Rava Yard and BNSF's West Yard . I have no Problem with becoming a member and paying my dues I don't know if You got to look at my upgraded West Colton Trk file , but that was my first project with Yard duty. I am more of A Southern Pacific train Guy , but since UP took over SP more then 4 years ago , I have to go with one of the Main railroads in the USA. I can't wait until we have system of rail maps for the UP for Yard duty . I am looking forward to seeing UP yards in the Chicago area

I am always learning here from you guys, your tips and points are great . I hope my future maps are value to Yard Duty.
I been into trains since I was 12 years old , that is a lot of time , since I am 39 years old now .

> area. We're kind of in the same boat: I'm a big Chicago & Northwestern fan, also eaten by the UP around the same time. For Chicago, I have submitted draft maps to Jim of UP's Western Ave (shared with Milwaukee Road), 40th Street, and North Ave yards, and am waiting for his go-ahead to start laying track. Expect a good level of detail - I surveyed 40th last weekend and should be able to accurately label industries and sidings. Oh, and I paid my dues yesterday. With luck, v1.1.9 breaking the 64K yard-file ceiling might also allow BRC's Clearing yard to come about someday...Kevin
