It appears that everyone understands the importance of uploading trains to the server. How would you guys feel if I remove the price of uploading and downloading trains? This would make transfering short trains a cost-free proposition and encourage sending light power back to its owner. Let me know, Jim
I think that'd be great for the new players. I have nearly $1M accumulated from loading so many Chinook trains, so the only thing I have to worry about these days is killing a mainline train... which I don't even run because the game is such a resource hog on my machine (128mb ram, 650MHz PIII)... after traveling between a few maps, a 60mph train looks like it's only moving at 40. And it seems to affect other programs... it took literally 10 seconds for an AIM message to pop up last night after I'd been running the prog for a while. I usually end up closing/opening it every half-hour or so just to prevent things from bogging down too much. I do intend to upgrade to 256mb ram in March, which will hopefully alleviate some of these problems (see, I tied it back into the original topic... sort of...)-Dave QG 14.32, CSXT Selkirk Sub http://www.davehonan.gcdranet.com/
