Paul, I now have a railroad mapping software that I am using to help with the connections. Previously I didn't have the tools to know what the proper connections were and was relying completely on the submitted connections. Now I do have the tools. As I said before, I always use the suggested connections as a starting point for my studies, and I enjoy studying the maps and connections myself as well. You can be assured that in the long run the connections will be done as accuratly as possible, but always within the context of gameplay. For example, look at Dolton junction. Right now only two exits are in use. Over time the others will be used, but right now there aren't any maps that warrent using the other connections. This will change as more maps are added to the Chicago area. I just don't want to spend time on fictitious connections that will very likely change soon. Also, doing the connections is one of the most time consuming things, because in addition to figuring out what is prototypical and what compromises in need to make, I also have to test the connections by driving some engines back and forth across all the new connections to make sure they work they way I intend.
