When I logged on just now, I kept getting error messages ("Object variable or With block variable not set IN: subAnimate")when I tried to access the yards that I have cars in, and the program would lock up. After several attempts, I got into my yards only to find this message ("Type mismatch IN: subLoadTrainFromFile"), and all of my cars gone, as well as most of the engines. I lost 2 or 3 hundred cars.
(Sorry guys, looks like no email from me today.)HELP!Paul Metzger

John,Did you run into that problem recently, or in the past? I had this happen a while ago, but haven't had this happen recently till today. Everything seemed fine when I shut down at midnight last night. Also, if I try to load any of the templates that I've saved, I get the same error messagePaul Metzger

RE: disappearing trains

Whew, mops brow. Being a newbie I thought It was just me & the program was causing my computer to crash. Unfortunaltey I deleted the whole thing before looking on here so will now have to re-install.

Contact Jim about re-installing. I think there is something with your registration code that he needs to do something about if you re-install it. Then again, that might be no longer applicable.Paul Metzger

Thanks, Jim. I figured we had better wait until you got a chance to work on it before doing anything. Paul Metzger

by the way, I have back-ups from a couple of days ago. Will I be able to get those cars back? (I lost every car in my system, and all but 2 sets of engines.) If not, I guess I'll start from scratch.Paul Metzger
