Ive just downloaded & joined Yardmaster. However it is asking me to enter an SMTP code. My ISP is AOL & I get mail direct. AOL UK is of no help, anybody else using AOL can help? Incidentally being in the UK I msy get a bit confused as our railway system is totally different. Thanks
Dave,Aol won't work. If you can wait a few days, we can set you up with another email account that will work. (The person who can do this is away for Christmas). In the meantime, you can run the game, disregarding the SMTP message. Just don't try to deliver any cars w/ email. If you have any other questions, don't hestitate to ask.We also have a Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/yardduty/btw, Welcome to YD (Yard Duty)Paul Metzger NS Team Northern Region
Hello all. I m new to the game, and I have been playing around with it and like what I see. I work for a major railroad (NS, De Butts Yard) but trains are still a hobby for me. I was a railfan, before I was a railroader, anyway I have AOL. I saw in this message that i can get help setting up a e-mail account that will work with the game, which I need, so any help would be appreciated. I ll probably like to join the NS Team in the near future once my game expertise grows. I know all about railroad operations atleast how NS does business, but computers are another thing all together.
