Jim, Are you working on uploading some maps that are going to connect Chicago to Texas or Citico? I have some cars I would love to get moving south but I don't want to send them way out to Des Moines or to Penn. to get there. I had given you a map in KY that would make a good link. Just curious why those southern connections were removed. Alan
Yeah, I'll try to add Faulkner tonite. I was running late this morning and rushed to get Calumet posted for you, even without all the connections...Jim
Work progresses on Terre Haute, IN. Pending approval, I finished the maps tonight. There's so much trackage there that the city itself covers six maps, and there are four satellites (two power plants, two coal mines). For those unfamiliar with the Haute, it lies on the CSXT CE&D Sub between Chicago & Evansville (thence to Nashville & Atlanta), the CSXT (ex-CR) St Louis Line Sub (St Louis - Indianapolis - Berea), the CSXT Danville Secondary (Terre Haute - Decatur), and the CPRR Latta Sub (Terre Haute - Louisville).-Dave QG 14.32, CSXT Selkirk Sub http://www.davehonan.gcdranet.com/
I'm working on a couple of maps on BNSF's Chicago-LA transcon in Kansas. One is the Emporia yard with a few industries (good place to block cars heading either west or south), the other is a town named Augusta where the line to Oklahoma City and Dallas branches off of the transcon. I have submitted the Emporia map for polishing, and the Augusta map will get sent tonight for polishing.Austin S. austin_seely@yahoo.com Milwaukee Road's Pacific Coast Extension Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/milwpaccoastextension/ Milwaukee Road's Trans-Missouri Division Version 0.2
