Timesaver "Pocket" RouteName of Route: TimesaverVersion and Release Date: Version 1, April 15, 2002Description: I call it a "Pocket route" because it fits on one tile. Based on John Allen's classic switching layout, this route was made entirely from default objects. The installation download is less than 60k. Despite its small size, the route is lots of fun for switching fans. Installation Method: Extract Zip file and run batch file.Size of Download: 58 kilobytesSize of Installed Route: 29 megFantasy, Prototypical, or Freelance Operations: Prototypical industrial switchingFreight or Passenger: FreightEra or Genre: AnyLocation: UrbanLength of Mainline: < 1 mileLength of Branches: < 1/4 mileNumber of Branches: 1Number of Sidings: 4Number of Yards: 1Mixture of Dual and Single Track: Single onlyLevel of Trackside Detail: Medium - No signals or sounds, some level 9 details.Amount of Scenery Completed: 100%FPS Specs, with qualifiers: unknownActivities Provided: Two sample activitiesNon-Default Consists or Rolling Stock Required in Activities: NoneAdd-In Track Sets: NoneTsection.dat file used: DefaultPayware or Freeware: FreewareURL for More Information and Screenshots: http://www.railwaystation.com/trainsim/routes.html#timesaverKnown Problems: Switching activities require use of the front coupler, which can be a problem due to MSTS bugs. Installation of the Microsoft patch (http://www.microsoft.com/games/trainsim/tech.asp) is recommended if this is a problem. Also, modified ENG and Wag files for default equipment used in activities are included with the route in order to reduce derailment problems from the patchWhere it can be downloaded: http://www.railwaystation.com/trainsim/routes.html#timesaverTimesaver Route developed by:Ron Paludan
