All payments are to be through paypal. Contact me at lfriddle@cox.net if you are interested. If you just love the route and would like to donate, that would be welcome also!URL for More Information and Screenshots: Browse the Route developers forum on Train-Sim.com. The route was in development for three years and many progress screenshots were posted. Search for FRISCO – Fort Smith.Known Problems: The Great White Void affects the northern quarter of the route. Use the Great White Void work around if you are running a train and encounter the problem.Where can it be Downloaded: At Train-Sim.com for starters. Feel free to share among yourselves and to post copies on other sites if you want. Just don’t change the original files. If you get a CD from me, feel free to burn copies and distribute them as you like as long as you don’t charge for them. The route must remain free.CRC CHECKING:
There have been over 1000 good installs to date, so there is nothing wrong with the files in the library. If you are having a problem, chances are that you do not have a good download. Try this:1. Go to http://www.irnis.net/free.shtml and download a very small freeware program <300K called eXpress Checksum Calculator and install it on your computer. By the way, Norton didn't find any virus on their site or in the downloaded zip file.2. Run it against the Frisco files you have downloaded. The CRC32 Checksums of the original files are:
FriscoFS.exe 9823E9B3
FriscoFS.D01 1E0A37FA
FriscoFS.D02 1826CEEA
FriscoFS.D03 51C487F0
FriscoFS.D04 A535F954
FriscoFS.D05 710C5852If you get something different, then chances are that the file is corrupt.Version 1.1 Support: I did not make nor do I support the upgrade to version 1.1. This was a minor change to make my route compatable with the authors software. If you install the version 1.1 upgrade, contact him, not me.
I am not saying I disapprove of the upgrade, only that I did not make it. Everyone should feel free to upgrade, change, whatever they like. This specification was re-submitted on 11-10-04 to correct my email address and to add/correct information.Larry Friddle
