I have Mesaba and love it. I can't make the Chicago route work because of the limitations of my system. What other good traction routes are out there? My first train ride was on an Southern Iowa boxmotor between Moravia and Centerville Iowa more years ago than I want to admit and have always had a soft spot for traction.
I'd highly suggest the Stadtbahn U-79 route available from www.thetrain.de. It's an amazing streetcar route.--The FBL Commuter Edition!!!!!!---You can never have too much inner beauty. Or socks. -Matt, 3:25am-Why are we here, and what is our purpose? That, my friends, is the everlasting eternal question. That, and, where's the Honeycomb Hideout?-Creating Pac-Man comics for the humorless people out there
U79 is excellent. There are some other good German ones where you can register and get downloads. There's also a Sydney, Australia route too. If interested I will try and find the site address for you as it gives 2 routes. The Blackpool tramway can be got too. I also have Tower Tramway, Line 1, etc from Germany.Have a look at the following German sites... Betriebshof-Koeln.de msts-strabafanpage.de http://www.tramsimulator.net/ www.the-train.deThere is also Modern City Tramway where the author is doing an update on a British tram system so watch for news especially on the UKTrainSim site Bobby
