RE: Light Rail

Good morning Liberty Linewelcome to the fora. There are indeed some traction routes available (and more in the works). For a early 1920s look, try the "Mesaba Electric". Its here in the file library.Another one is the recently released "Red Arrow Route", also on this server. For a more modern look, the "Stadtbahn U79" comes to my mind. You find it in five files (one contains all the cars you need to run it) over at the-train.de.Lukas a.k.a Swissie

On second thought: Do also have a look at tramsimulator.net, although it is mostly scenery items and rolling stock. Due to server problems, only one route is up momentarily: "Linie 5 KVG", a modern urban trolley route.Other than the-train.de which has an English mirror site, it is only in German, but "Downloads" is pretty universal, then try out all the categories or use a translation tool. Notice: You will only get thumbnail previews of the downloads when you click on "details".Lukas a.k.a Swissie

RE: Light Rail

Greetings from Glasgow, Scotland!
There's The U79 mentioned to you is an excellent German system. Also some sites to visit-www.moderncitytramway.tk (UK)The site owner is presently working on a new tramway and the preview pictures look good. So keep a note!
www.tramsimulator.de (German)
Betriebshof-Koeln.de (German)
msts-strabafanpage.de (German) - Has Tower City Tramway etc
www.the-train.de (German)These sites have links to others and you may find tramways and vehicles. There is also an Australian tramway with car that can be got too. I have downloaded it but will be back again with the info if I can find it (!). You can run the tram provided or load up alternatives, it gives a couple of routes based on an Australian city.
Hope this is of some further help to you along with the info already supplied? I am a bit of a tram fanatic and dare I whisper it..I'm presently working an an extensive tramway on Auran Trainz which I also have along with MTS.
Bobby

RE: Light Rail

To Liberty LineHi again,I have found the Australian tram route I mentioned to you before (2 in the prog actually). The site is at ...http://www.railpage.org.au/steam4me/trainsim/#ev(1) Once you have got into the site you'll find a list on the right hand side. Go into "Routes and accessories".
(2) There you'll find "La Peruse - The first Australian route". you can then download it. You will notice it tells you that you require Sydney R Class Tarm which is on the same page as the route download (can add on any other tram if you wish).
Hope this is of further help across the pond?!

Thanks for that correction Bobby much appreciated.
