We are proud to announce our first fully functional Hamburg tram vehicle type V6e for TRS 2004.This project took 4 months of work so far and now we are ready to show the first screenshotz in an early beta stage... .Hamburg Tram V6e for TRS 2004 – image 1

The passenger compartment. The lighted sign shows, that the doorlocking has been deactivated and the door can be opened by the passengers by pressing the doorbutton. Of course this works, too. the door will close after several seconds. The tram based on the V6e series, built in 1951/52 for the "Hamburg Hochbahn" by LHB. It's outfitted with a highly functional cabview and a driver rule, to use the functions even in DCC mode.Functions so far:Driving:
- combilever (crank) for driving and braking.
- 2 Maxifuses for protection against overcurrent
- the engines only work, if power is applied to the loco (bar up, fuses in) Braking:no pressuriesed air inside , but
- dynamic brake
- mechanical hydraulic driven brake as stoping brake
- magnetic emergency brake Lightsystem:
- dim beam
- full beam
- turnsignals
- braking light
- backward driving light
- lighted interior (coupled with the driving light)
- lighted signsDoors:
- each doorgroup (3) can be opened/closed seperately by the driver
- each door segment (5) can be deactivated by pulling the fuse of the actuators... .
- locking/unlocking of the passenger door buttons. Unlock the doors, move the camera back and press the button... .
- status lights and warning lights, for closed/open doors
- accustic warning for driving with open doors... .
- with the spacebar You can simply open and close all doors at the stationSigns:
- all signs can be changed to prototypical parameters by the driver rule... . You can change the lines and the destination boards they are called "Zielfilm" over here... . Further animations:
- wipers
- sun shield
- driver window
- barSounds:
- every lever has it's prototypical sound. Sound for the generator, the hydraulicpump are integrated... .

All functions are working for interior and the exterior modell. todo:
- add some more little goodys never seen before (lol)
- implementation of better braking physiks. TRS has not been built with the prototype behaviour in mind, so this is a little bit complicated at the time being. Eventually a completely new scriptbased driving physic will be implemented
- further enhancements to the 3D modell and the textures... .
- sound: the whole driving sound is missing so far... . this tram will be sold as a package with a depot, a tram-track system, signals, catenary, waiting rooms... . This will take more time, so please stay tuned... . The sales should go to a group, to help conserve one of the originals, that's still allive... .The 3d-modell, the textures, the cab-sound and most of the animations have been done by Rolf Westphalen. Some morale support, some animations and the whole script/function system has been implemented by me... .

RE: Hamburg Tram V6e for TRS 2004

Bravo. If i'd known in July 1978, when I was in Hamburg that the one remaining line would not last the year I would have made sure to have ridden the whole thing. As it was I only rode between the Rathaus end of the line and where it crossed below the U2 route. What is the route in the pictures?David Beach.Palouse & LewistonHamburg Tram V6e for TRS 2004 – image 5
