The L&PS has had the pleasure of testing a new watch tower design from our inveterate shanty builder, CMO. Paul, we have found this watch tower to be perfectly suitable for this location and thank you for providing us with this excellent structure. We appologize for the grimy condition, but the Pere Marquette has running rights over this section of our line and their smokey steam kettles cover everything with soot. We'll all be happy in a few years when the traction radialls take over North America and evict those antiques from the rails. Fantastic image! Splendid!I've been reading a bit about the POV-RAY, but am a bit baffled. Do you import .3ds files into that and then render?Well done...

Hi,The shadows in the first (starting) picture, are done by PovRay. Wayne is developing an application so that PovRay can render MSTS screenshots.Dick van den Hoven
Again, how does POV RAY work?Do you import a bunch of max files into the program? .3ds files? The website is hopelessly confusing as to exactly how this is all done!
