For anyone who wants the ease of a simple installation routine the entire route is available from Ralf & Juergen on a CD for the paltry sum of 10 Euro, and it takes a lot of the aggro out of installing, plus in the event of you needing to re-install it's as simple as installing the base program! You can contact the authors through their homepage, and there is also info on their other routes and future projectswww.graphics15.deand no, I am not on a commission!Reg Kray

Absolutly fantastic route!!!!! However I have some small problems...
When I switch to winter I get a lot of missing objects errors, in summer it works just fine. Does anyone know whats being said when you hit the "B" key? Its German and I don't speak that language. Also wish the activity notes were bi-lingual.Other then those problems I have to say this is possibly the most wonderful route I have seen!!!!!!!!!!!! Arthur

Arthur,
it simply says "Next stop", although without any station name, so you'll have to complete the announcement in your head .

RE: Soon: a big german traction route: Stadtbahn U79 !!

I am really enjoying the U79 Stadtbahn. I use the trams from Graphics 15 and also Koln B80d's.I was a little disappointed that the higher street platforms are above the bottom of the B80D doors, so I have taken to lowering the tram stops into the ground so that they are level with the bottom of the doors. While doing so I found a tram stop between St Anna hospital and Kesselsberg, which does not show up on the list of stops. It has the shape file name obenagen in Route Editor, but nothing in the Shapes or Texture files. Any ideas ?Eric in UK

RE: Soon: a big german traction route: Stadtbahn U79 !!

Hi,There is "ghost" station along the U79. That station is there in reality too. In the sixties plans were made to build new cities on the plain grounds outside Duisburg. During a modernisation of the line, a new station was already build. But the plans were cancelled and the station was not needed. But as demolition - in particular concrete - is expensive, the building is still there.
You don't need to stop there, in reality the trams are running through it.Dick van den HovenPrevious Topic | Next Topic – image 20

RE: Soon: a big german traction route: Stadtbahn U79 !!

Dick,Thanks for that. I was occasionally in Dusseldorf over 40 years ago, but never went as far as Duisburg. It's good to "be back", albeit in trainsim, after all that time.Eric in UK
