I'm taking a break from route building and finally have some time to check out other routes. I have always loved older streetcars and trolleys. One of my earliest childhood memories is watching the streetcars passing in front of my uncle's Atlanta apartment. Are there any 1800's, early 1900's type streetcar/trolley routes available. What are your recommendations? Thanks, Bill Burnett
Steps back to blow his own horn here: Try the Mesaba Electric in the File Library. It's modeled after a real interurban line that ran across northern Minnesota in the early 1900's. There's also three other mainline railroads included in the route, including an iron mine. The trolley portion includes street and cross country running through several different towns. If you do D/L it and have any problems, I'll be glad to help.
Hi again Dave,I downloaded and installed your route and have been enjoying it. I found driving on the streets took some getting used to.Loved all the bird sounds in the woods since I am a biologist. Got a big kick out of seeing "The Big Chicken" KFC restaurant, since I live about ten minutes from the real one and drive by it every day on the way to work.Great job on your route. I will have a lot of fun with it.Thanks, Bill Burnett
Hi Dave! Thanks for blowing your own horn! I'd been wanting to get the Mesaba Electric before I had broadband but found it too cumbersome for my 56k. Now that I have cable internet, I downloaded it this afternoon and my my, what a fabulous route! Nice job! Thanks for providing it to the community!Tim Frost NVTA Subway routes for BVE: The Union Atlantic Railroad: Your stuff's important!

The car required for the route is in the zip files if you downloaded from train-sim.com. If you downloaded from another site, you'll have to search in the train-sim.com file library for the car under "Traction" using the search word "Mesaba".
