Lukas, I just wanted to let you know that I couldn't resist giving your STS Brill interurbans a torturous workout on the Arrowhead line! hehehe I love the cars!Chris
sorry...I attached that as an HTML link instead of a pic! Here's the screenshot I meant to send. The Brills are running on the Pacific Electric Arrowhead line, on the grade through the foothills, just east of Electric Avenue.

Hi Chris, that looks sweet. Well, they are intended to be taken out onto the streets, eehm tracks, I mean The day the arrowhead becomes available, you can be sure I will be among the downloaders. Looking forward to more traction routes, actually.I looked up the arrowhead route in my book on the PE recently. I am just curious down to which terminal you will be going to model it (the top end is a bit more obvious, I assume)Cheers, and happy EasterSwissie
Happy Easter guys!Well, I'd like to model the entire line from 3rd Street all the way up to the terminus at Arrowhead Springs. I'd also like to include a couple of the other local lines, like the line to Urbita Sprngs. There was a small station at the end of the Arrowhead line, but unfortunately it is long gone, and there is only a small covered drop-off shelter there now. There were actually two trolley stations used in downtown San Bernardino. The original San Bernardino Valley Traction depot was on Third Street, between D Street and Arrowhead Avenue, but when Pacific Electric took over the lines, they were based at a larger Southern Pacific station a little further west. It was on Third Street, between E and F Streets. I'm not sure which station I'll build the MSTS route to start at, but probably the PE station. The PE station was torn down sometime in the early 1960s (There is a mall there now), so it will be tricky to get a station for MSTS. I'll either have to substititute a building that comes close enough or see if I can con someone here into modeling the PE station for me...hehe. Unless, that is, I finally get around to getting my own 3d program. Most of the track is placed, and I've got the scenery nearly finished from Arrowhead Springs as far south as Highland Avenue, but I still have a long way to go. I'll see if I can post some more screen shots, but I still can't say for sure when I'll have it ready to upload. Maybe I can upload an early version for testing? Or if anyone is interested in testing it and letting me know of any suggestions or constructive criticism, I can send you a cd. But just keep in mind, this is the first MSTS route I've done!
