I've been trying on and off since Seotember to get Measba Electric to load properly. The other day I restarted. I went to the Files Library, searched the Routes section for Mesaba, downloaded everything there, unzipped everything and installed everything. I still get messages indicating files are missing. Files like ...\terrtex\microtex.ace and ingame.sms. I have the latest Xtracks and TSection installed. What am I missing here? Thanks,Al Barten

It shouldn't be too much trouble to get it working. Copy the ingame.sms from any other route's Sound folder, and paste it into the Mesaba Sound folder. Same thing for the microtex.ace, except, of course, put that in the Terretex folder. Any other errors, post them here, and we'll get you fixed up.Edit: typo

RE: Mesaba troubles

The other thing missing from the instructions was to run the installme.bat file once you have copied the route into the routes folder.

RE: Mesaba troubles

Thanks. The installme.bat is usually the biggy. Without that you can spend many hours adding a file at a time.Cheers,
Al

It really is a great route. I've been using it with a variety of trolleys -- good place to try them out -- although many of the poles don't reach to the wires. I enjoy going down Howard Street in Hibbing in my Boston Type 5 !!

RE: Mesaba troubles

Thanks to Rich Garber and his new houses, there's been a lot of development on Howard Street lately. I'm shooting for a "final" release around July 1.

Yayyyy!! I will be looking forward to a revised Hibbing! This really is a nice route. I wish that some of our design experts would create some activities that might include some passing traffic on the 3 railroads that go by / cross the Mesaba. It would be nice to have to wait at some of those crossing for an ore train to go by, or be overtaken on the straight stretch beyond the Hibbing Station.
