For what its' worth, the OE No.10 was uploaded this morning, a fairly accurate model of the prototype, with 1940 details. I'd welcome anyone to download this steeplecab, perchance to make a cabview for it with all the correct controls. I just don't have the time (nor patience) to invest in that department. But here it is, take a look:
Oregon Electric Motor No. 10 Uploaded today – image 2Oregon Electric Motor No. 10 Uploaded today – image 3This is a different model than the previously uploaded Yakima #298 steeplecab, with different detailing, namely bell and headlite placement, spoked "cowcatchers", an air whistle, ladders and footboards and trolley board . A Portland Electric Power re-paint will be available too, which will have the same details, as the No.10 was purchased from PEPCO in 1940. This will be coming soon.I hope you will enjoy it.Cheers!Tim

Could you be persuaded to do Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee motors? They had three which were very similar, the 452, 453 and 454. Green body and red doors and windows. If you need a color picture let me know or look in RMC's Februury issue.ThanksWally

Hi Wally,
As a matter of fact, I started one a few months ago, then my 'puter started acting up. I gave the project to Gary (cgw409) to complete when he got the time. Well, he's pretty busy with his own route and creations, so no telling when he'll get to it. I haven't talked to him for awhile ( I should). I even posted pics below is one.Who knows what 2003 has in store?......Keep crossing your fingers!Tim

Tim
Merry Christmas to all
You've got it right on busy but the CA&E trackwise is all but complete
Made it to Elgin a week ago completing the mainlines, finished the Cook County freight branch last Thursday and Monday night completed laying out the CGW from where it stopped near the IHB tracks to well east of Forest Park.
This leaves only the C&NW from Wheaton to Lombard and completing track in the CA&E Wheaton car yard, So I might be pulling that CNS&M pup out and giving her a looksee sometime early in the new year.
Merry Christmas everybody
Gary
