Chuck Zeiler and I have been working on updating the Brill Semi-Convertible and will be available soon with a new number to reflect the slight changes. These include a new sound file, much reduced in size. Also, reduced sized ace-files with minor adjustments and new destination and dash signs. If anyone has any further suggestions please contact me at timmuir@wcn.net -Thanks! TimPortland Traction -.01% done!
Looks great, Tim. Too bad Boston's Brill cars looked so much different, otherwise I'd already be asking if I could release new skins for it From operating some PCCs over very tight trackage, it's become more and more obvious to me that the trolley pole leaves the wire because it's fixed straight. I wonder, would it be possible to either name it as a third bogie, or make it part of the rear bogie, so that it would swivel to match the track center-line on curves? Naturally its pivot point would be at the base of the pole. Has anyone tried this?Alex Stroshane Amtrak Prototype & Model Photos, Train Gifs, and more! http://www.trainweb.org/asamtrak911
This is correct. However, on those 30 degree curves, the poles wont follow the sharp bends in the wire Plus the pole and springs swivel out from the base and looks dorky at certain angles. But, hey, it's better than a sharp stick in the eye!Tim

You will have to do some up for products of the early 20th century, like maybe an early Coke Cola ad! Regards, Rich
Rich, The pole / pan rising to the wire is, I believe, un-obtainable, other than the choices offered in multiple .s files, such as Wayne Campbell's LP&S No.2. A wonderful option, too, I might add. I do have ideas and pix to use for alternate dash-signs, advertisings etc. The problem is finding the time to do all these neat things. (It just aint there like it used to be.)There are 4 more PRL&P cars in this series to come, I intend to do all of them for the Portland Traction Route I'm slowly working on. So, in due time, we'll see a Coca-Cola add. This I'm sure of. Thanks!Tim
