......stands one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, Mt Hood, in the State of Oregon, viewable from many parts of this state's largest city, Portland. Now, for the first time, the majestic volcanoe,(ex), is seen from the Portland Traction route, that is just beginning to take its' first steps. From the vacinity of Council Crest, at 4 o'clock in summer, it is clearly visible to the East. Thanks to David Beach for this wonderful view. His DEM knowledge and generosity made this possible.
Cheers!!Tim
