Rural Ontario was well served by the L&PS in the 20’s. Here we are at Stop 13 surrounded by gently rolling hills, with Shorlea farms in the distance. Not a lot has changed. The second photo shows the area today. Wayne(The L&PS is a route I have under construction in my spare time with no timetable for release.)
This is one aspect of this hobby I find fascinating. Being able to re-create a scene out of the past, gone forever except in old photos or memory. You're always coming up with some cool pix, Wayne, and is inspiring me further along the route. Got my DEM'd route blank yesterday for Portland Traction, and will get started on it when I get some more references together. I hope we see more of your fine work soon!Tim
Wayne,It looks excellent so far from what I have seen. I'm usually down on the old L&PS once a week at least catching the odd train here and there between St Thomas and London.Jon
