After a recent hard drive rebot, I noticed that when in an external view of my train, there were no sounds, e.g. the whistle. However, when inside the cab, all sounds are audiable. I have checked all the sound options and all were set properly. I am running on a Dell 4600 desktop with a Creative Labs sound card?Could anyone tell me how to fix this problemAny help would be appreciated. Thanks Scott
Scott,Man, I hate to say it, but your not alone with this problem. I have the same, Dell 4600 with the Creative Labs sound card. I have been dealing with this problem for about 4 months. I have tried about everything, and Im like a computer expert, and nothing has worked. It's not the software of Train Sim, but something within some BIOS or driver somewhere within the system. I would like to hear a solution to this as well if someone might know. Thanks!--DriftonClinch Valley DistrictRails = 100% Landscaping = 65% Scenery = 40% All Together = 40%
Hi all, Happened once to me. Go to the start menu, Select programs then Creative. Look for diagnostic agent. There are two diagnostic programs. For some reason the settings are reset on a boot. Use the configuration for your speaker system. My Computer specs are in my profile Mike "
Thanks so much for the reply Mike! I'll have to try that when I get home from school. Hopefully this works, if so, I have big plans for spending money.Norfolk Southern Pack & Cascades Crossing Here I come! LOL...
