I was wondering if someone could answers some questions for me.
If I am by the player train and an AI train approaches, does the volume of the horn or whistle get louder as the AI train approaches or is it the same volume all the time?
If the volume does not adjust accordingly, is there any way to make the volume variable?I know the original invisocar that I used with KHP was such that the volume was always constant as the AI train approached. Thanks for the help.

RE: Invisocar

Sniper's (Jim Ward) initial problem was that at distance AI horns were too quiet, if not inaudible. The Invisocar was designed to overcome this and within the limitations of the sim's sound system the only solution involved having a constant volume horn. So I don't think there is really any point in making Invisocar horns with fully distance variable volume (although you could) as it would give the default effect (ie too quiet at distance) which is what you would get using an sms set-up for the AI loco itself anyway. That said, you might be able to set an Invisocar up to play one of a series of horns, each one being the same horn but each .wav file being at a different volume level, the appropriate horn being selected by the distance away the AI is from the camara. But, it's been a while since I did the Invisocar with Sniper so I'm not certain without taking a look at the files again.
