Using the RE I placed a sound source. When I run the activity and approach the sound area in a non cab view I hear the sound. When I switch to a Cab view the sound stops. However, when I switch back to an external view the sound does not play. Apparently once you switch to a cab view it deactivates the sound forever. Am I correct?? Is this controlled by the "activate" and "deactivate" statements in the .sms file? How do you create/modify a .sms file? Is there an editor/compiler somewhere in Route Riter? Also, when in the RE you can locate a sound source, however you cannot identify what sound source file it is. Is there some way to determine what sound source it is? Thanks.
