HiIs there a way to tweak MSTS into pressing a button to start a locomotive??Redfox_6900, MP47.8 NBEC's Newcastle Subdivision Future Engineer for New Brunswick East Coast Railway Co.Long Live NBEC's SD40s
Dan is right. BUT People (including Dan) has put locomotive start up sounds on locomotives when you start up the explore route or activity. It sounds great.
You might want to try this one as well;www.thopil.de/downloads_v200.html If you try the first engine (v200 139), with the B key you will start up the engine. However, before you start it and you'll look from from the outside you will see the engine running by seeing the smoke coming from the exhausts. So actually it's a workaround method. But neat nevertheless. It's a German train and website BTW, but well worth a try.
This method (B key) was also uploaded to the uktraimsim library a few months ago for use with a couple of small diesel shunters. (switchers)regards, Nick. (UK)
