I want to do ALOT of whistle sounds. My favorite railroad in the world is the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railway. I think that railroad has the best of everything, but I especially like the 5-chime whistles they have on all their power. I have found on the internet quite a few recordings that i'd like to use for my K-36's in MSTS. Can someone help me convert them so they are usable on my engines. I have an idea too for whistles. What if we could make a certain key on the numpad say, a certain whistle command. Like number 1 is for a grade crossing, #2 is 1 long and 2 shorts, #3 is 1 long and a short...on and on.So that way we could do it sounding alot more realistic that the usual slow way of doing it with the space bar, cause no engineer blows the whistle THAT slow. Some whistles are fun on here like the one Jonathan Lewis has put on his D&RGW Mudhens, those you cab blow slowly or fast...Please help me guys.Kevin Bush,

The best thing I can say is to download Goldwave (www.goldwave.com) and just go from there. I figured out how to loop whistles within a day, and within a week, they were actually sounding clean. So I'd say give it a go.As far as the numeric pad thingy, I don't know, it'd require a LOT of work into the .sms and basic MSTS infrastructure. I'd wait for v.2.-Yeah, that's right! I want to do a whistle for the K-36's. I have a recording of a D&RGW 5-chime that was used on almost all of their K-36's and 37's. I got as far as making a start point for the recording and an stopping point. It comes out sounding really weird in the sim. Can I please get some help on this. Kevin Bush,

Ok, I was toying around with it myself, but after looping it, between loops there is a pause, a split second pause. How do I get rid of this? How do I make it so that I can blow "short" and "long" blasts?-Jeffrey
