I thought maybe they could be used to disable the 11 trigger and keep the bell on, then re-enable it to turn the bell off.I tried fiddling with my xxxxxcab.sms file but I'm not sure of the syntax. MSTS puked and put my file into the ozone for a while.Any thoughts?krswen

RE: Ever try the EnableTrigger, DisableTrigger commands

HiThe easiest way is press 'B' then Shift (or Ctrl) then release 'B' then release Shift (or Ctrl), the bell will stay on until you press 'B' again.Much easier than trying to find a programming solution GaryG

RE: Ever try the EnableTrigger, DisableTrigger commands

Just search this forum you can find syntax. Remember turn "Also search the archived threads?" on.Basically you can not use one event for toggle sound purpose. You can not program .sms file. You had to use other event ot turn off the bell or enable the trigger. may be you can use random_trigger delay some time to enable it again. But it seems you still can not use "B" key to stop the bell. One event can only do one thing, you can not let it have dual purpose. You may disable or enbale it, but it's behavior (function) will not change by other fact. If that can, then that's a program.
