I got sounds recorded from real diesel engine, but they have too much noise (especially hissing tape noice from recorder).
What program should I use to do frequency analisys, remove/mute some harmonics ?

RE: Removing noise from recorded sound files?

There's one freeware program called Audacity, which can do simple editing of noise. Can't remember the homepage right now.

Where has my favourite LUL train gone? Maybe it was sent for bolt checking again...
