Distant whistle (?) – image 1

LAST EDITED ON Aug-25-03 AT 10:54 AM (EDT)

I downlodaed and installed the D&RG K-36 which is a wonderful loco with synchronized sounds. The only thing I would like to improve is the sound of the whistle. The whistle sound seems accurate enough, but it sounds too distant (i.e., needs more presence). Is there anyway to fix this? Even a tad more volume mught help.Sorry if this seems a dumb Q. I've never played with MSTS soun files.TIA

I'd suggest Goldwave, from www.Goldwave,com . It's a great sound editor, you can increase the volume, add echo, ect, ect.-You can never have too much inner beauty. Or socks.
